Meet the Team

Ellie Soucy

President and Founder 

  

Ellie has been making her mark in the industry for over 20 years. Originally born in Jamaica, Ellie grew up in Rochester, NY, to eventually live in Dubai and Hong Kong before settling down in sunny Florida. She started out her career with Inc Magazine after getting dual degrees in accounting and criminal justice. At Inc Magazine, Ellie was appointed to oversee a newly developed program to include CEO symposium, employee conferences and customer loyalty conferences. Most recently, Ellie successfully started Incentive Meeting Services, and she hasn’t looked back since. She has also been granted the position of Vice President/Membership for SITE Florida & Caribbean. With all that Ellie has accomplished, she still manages to find free time, where she enjoys spending time with her family, traveling and playing games.

Linda Pursley

 Travel Manager


Linda has been involved in many different aspects of the industry throughout her 35 years. Even though her degree is in Business, she found her calling in the travel/meeting industry early in her career and never left.  Born in Glasgow Scotland, Linda has spent most of her life in Canada, where she started her career and family.  Living in Windsor, Canada bordering Detroit, Michigan has allowed her the unique opportunity to work for an international tour operator with offices and business on both sides of the US/Canada making her familiar with laws, rules, and travel and meeting trends of both countries.   Linda loves to golf or spend time with her family and traveling the world with them.

Megan Leslie

Traveling Coordinator


Megan is a recent graduate student from Florida Gulf Coast University with a Bachelor’s of Science in Hospitality Management, concentration in Event Management and minor in Entrepreneurship. She has lived in the Tampa Bay area for most of her life and loves everything it has to offer. From a young age, Megan has always been very creative, coming up with innovate ideas in both her personal and work life. She joined our team as Event Coordinator, and is excited to use her skills and abilities to create wonderful experiences for our clients. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family, shopping and staying active. 

Melinda Creel

Events Manager


Melinda has over 25 years’ experience in Corporate Meetings and Event Planning. Born in Orlando, FL, she has spent 25 years as an Event Specialist. She has traveled domestically and internationally for companies facilitating events. Melinda has worked for corporate and incentive companies as well as the Air Force Association in Arlington, VA. Her skills and abilities include risk management, event logistics, project manager, client relationships, strategic planning and many other aspects of meetings and events. In her free time, Melinda enjoys all outdoor sports, including boating, biking, swimming and working out.

Kay Finch

Administrative Assistant


Kay brings 30+ years of expertise Administration, Bookkeeping and Customer Service knowledge. While joining us with a 10-year hospitality background in credit card gateway, she is excited to learn the industry of hospitality event planning services. Originally from north Louisiana, Kay moved to the Tampa Bay Area in 1988 and has called Florida home ever since.  She enjoys gardening, bike riding, upcycle crafts, painting, crocheting, piano, movies and reading to name a few.  Most importantly, Kay places high value on her family and this includes her furry pets.

Jo-Ann McKeon

 Program Manager
 

Jo-Ann first joined the IMS Team as an on-site Program Coordinator in 2016 and moved into the planning arena as a Program Manager the following year. With 18+ years of corporate meeting & event planning experience, Jo-Ann quickly became an integral part of our team, putting her out-of-the-box problem solving skills and innovative ideas to use whenever challenges arose. IMS clients have come to rely on Jo-Ann’s logistical guidance, suggestions, and creativity that continues to bring our meetings & events to the highest level possible.
